The pick is the working part of coal plow, cutting performance very important for efficient production mine. In order to analyze dynamic characteristics plow during process, a test platform was built. force and vibration head were obtained through test, relationship between speed depth analyzed. study influence different alloy shapes on pick, two kinds designed: with chip bit conical bit. finite element method used establish model, numerical simulation carried out. research results show that caving effect better than bit, but resistance greater When angle 60°, smallest increases increase installation angle. maximum error by methods 8.41%. verified simulation. According results, types adopted in which installed positions. Through analysis actual state it found damage form consistent result
